Relief Plus currently accepts Medicare, Blue Cross and Blue Shield (BCBS), UnitedHealthcare, VA, Verity, and Healthy Blue. Coverage, authorization, benefits, and patient responsibility vary by plan and service; acceptance does not guarantee that a particular visit or treatment will be covered or paid.
Referrals
Referral requirements depend on the type of care.
No referral is needed to see Dr. Johnston or Dr. Reed. Physical therapy is handled differently: when PT is appropriate, Relief Plus can coordinate the referral or plan-of-care process and can send the plan to the patient’s primary-care physician or another appropriate medical provider for review when required.
Medical-necessity, authorization, and payer requirements vary by plan. Call the clinic to confirm what applies before care begins.
Scheduling
You do not need to choose a treatment before calling.
Tell us what hurts and which activities are difficult. You can ask for an assessment without knowing the diagnosis or choosing a treatment first.
